well...
it was just a matter of time before this happened.
every car i had so far pretty much had black wheels (per choice) so this one would be no different. especially this one i might add, every 2 days or so it looks like i havent washed my wheels in months, and by just looking at them you can see how 'easy' they are to clean

not that i will not clean them any more, its jsut that i love black wheels and all the brake dust wont be showing as much so that is even better.
so... heres what happened...
spent about 4 hrs washing and cleaning them with steel wool last night, left them to dry over night and made sure they were absolutely dry this morning.

then off to painting them, and here is what they turned out, started at 7am and jsut got done about 10:30
theres probably about 8 or so lighter coats, and one veryyyyy good heave coat for that extra shine. getting into all those spokes was such a paint in the .... wow.
btw, index card masking, 1 minute per wheel, sooooo easy, done this a few times and its by far the best way to mask the tires from wheels (maybe not the 'best' way. but its quick and tires stay protected thoughout the whole process, and you can see in then after pics that they are completely dry and not painted at all, no overspray whatsoever.

but heres the pics, i love how they turned out.

centercaps got the same treatment, but i would say maybe 4 light coats since they are plastic
i will leave them to dry from now till about sometime tomorrow and post some pics with them installed (since you guys dont see my car often hehe)
