Nice! Welcome to another new addiction, autocross.
Looks like it is finally nice up there in the midwest, of course we have been autocrossing since January down here

I'm so glad to hear you had a good time! Yesterday was our first event locally... my car isn't out of the shop yet, so I co-drove an MR2 Spider, and did a few fun runs in my friends Elise.
Autocross is a drug, I swear.

After going to the Houston Grand Prix... I'm really wanting to drive the PISS out of my car... hehehe

I autocrossed yesterday too! Great weather and a good time as well.
* I put in my GT3 Delete kit earlier in the week and LOVED the extra Knee/Leg room. No bruises here.

What a great day for an autocross! It was great that you and NickCats could join me and my crew for the day and we look forward to the next one.
Congrats to DJ for putting in some great times for a "newbie" and to NickCats for knocking some serious time off throughout the day!

I still don't own a helmet and I'm not sure if I ever will.
Trust me it is not nearly as bad as some of the guys here say it is. I've never had a sweaty helmet. Most helmets aren't even being used since most people have them already.
Never been a problem for me...
I've done 5 auto-crosses so far

Saturday was a blast ! Luckily my burn turned to a nice, dark tan ( it’s nice to be Greek )
Sammy is truly a gifted driver, 4 seconds faster than 2nd place.
DJ was awesome for his first time out and beat me by 4 seconds as well.
At least I beat two of the STi’s !
Look forward to seeing you guys this Sunday !

Locally we have an "abandoned" airstrip that we get to use a lot, giving us courses that can be upwards of 70-80 seconds for FTD. In fact, the SCCA ProSolo is using the site for one of this events (Seneca Army Depot).
Oh, and I say "abandoned" because I swear I see new landing marks there every so often.

My burn went away as well. Just in time to get burned again at Sunday's PCA event!
I still can't believe the times I had... must have been my lucky day...
I'm glad we were able to beat on a few STi's and EVO's because they usually are my arch nemesis (along with S2000's)!
I had such a blast!
