Warning Decals On Sun Visors

I know that these can be easily removed and I was just about to start. I began to wonder is there a federal law that requires these to be there?

I don't care to much for myself but I thought of resale and not awanting to go through the trouble and expense of replacing these if I ever had to.

Hi, worst case scenario you can just replace them with new inserts when selling the car $75.00

If you do remove them (do it!) use 3M adhesive remover - works MUCH faster than rubbing alcohol. I tried both, and with the adhesive remover you can just sit and wait, whereas with the rubbing alcohol, you wet the paper towel completely with it and have to wait an hour or more for it to dissolve the decal.

I managed to get the decals on the mirror side off using Goo Gone but it was unbelievably hard, took a lot of hard rubbing. It wouldn't touch the smaller decal on the other side. Will the 3M adhesive remover do the trick on those? These decals are very distracting when you drive.
