is anyone going to blackhawk 05/09?

i will be there, should be fun.
i was explaining to my dad what it will be, and how i will have an instructor riding along, and that it will be a good experience for me, and him and my mom decided to get me that as a part of my Bday gift ( pay the $170 fee ).

anyone else going so i know who to look for?

I was hoping to but the Chicago chapter of the PCA hasn't gotten back to me with my registration, yet.

I know BHF pretty well. It's a blast on 2 wheels and I've always wanted to try on 4.

I am planning on it but it's tentative right now. I still have to pick up a helmet!

Chills,
yes the chicago chapter takes some time, but even if you are not a member yet you can go as a guest of a member, and im sure if you tell them that you didnt receive your paperwork yet they will let you (might want to email them and confirm), but would be fun to kinda race around dont ya think? see which green goes faster

mylamb,
cmon man, its a 10 minute thing, pick up a helmet, whip out the Visa, and youre set

Dj,

You may want to call or email Chicago PCA prior to the May 9th DE. I don’t think it is as simple as grabbing a helmet and paying. When I attended the Spring Safety and Tech session in March it was mentioned that your car must have passed a tech inspection and the DE tech inspection sheet must be acknowledged and signed by the driver and an inspector prior to the event :
