Removing headlight triangles
Hello,
This might be a stupid question, but can someone tell me how to easily remove my amber triangles near the headlights? I want to install some clear ones.
Thanks,
David

They pop out, by applying pressure from the back of the triangle. It is "usually" a pressure fit.
I found a little lubricant will help [WD-40].
The upper corner has a little lip which you will need to be careful with during the removal process.
It is basically slide and push; CAVEAT - be very careful with the tab edge. If worst comes to worst, you can super glue the little tab back on, but I have used them without the slide tab.

Dave, I just finished installing Litronics last night and I had to put on the clear triangles. I think the only way to do it is to pop the headlights out first and on the underside of the light assembly, you'll see the clips of the triangles. -- Dave

I bought the Litronics kit for 1099 us dollars. It's not plug n play, you need to do wiring - splicing and soldering. It takes about 3 hours. For just the clear lights, I think it's plug n play.

I bought it from Suncoast Motorsport in Florida -suncoastporsche.com. They list for 1195 but I kinda bargained a little bit since I did find it somewhere else for 1099. They are great to deal with.

litronics
Hi,
But i had read, that if you install a litronic kit, you need to have a wasersh kit too. If you donīt have a wasersh kit, you willnot pass the inspections.
Its this real??
If itīs real......with the litronic kit, comes the wasersh kit???
thanks in advanced.

I don't believe you have to have the headlight washers to pass inspection. The orginal halogen set didn't have them either and it's always been an option whether to have the washer or not in either the Litronics or the Halogens.

In some countries you need headlight washers if you have litronics in order to pass their vehicle inspection, but this is not true in the US. There is a headlight washer retrofit kit.
