That's what I suspected...the fuel filter is integrated with the fuel pump etc in the tank. The fact that Porsche specified a filter as lifetime is really ridiculous to me....all filters get dirty. Just bothers me cause I like all my filters clean....sounds like they don't even sell the filter separately...looks like you have to buy the entire fuel pump assembly etc., which is crazy.
