that's very comforting

I noticed today the noise isn't noticiable when the car is hot... so I dunno... maybe I am just being paranoid that my tranny will go out on the same day as my engine and my whole Porsche experience will be done with

Is is make this noise when you go over bumpy road surfaces or is it consistant?

Try to drive another Tip boxster and see if the noise is there and/or take it to a porsche specialists and see what they think. They shouldn't charge you anything for a 5 min test drive.

Hi,

Think about it - it can in no way be associated with the Tiptronic S transaxle if the noise is from the Front of the Car - IMPOSSIBLE!...
