Console AC vent loose

Does anyone else here have this issue. Say your driving and you hit afew little bumps or cracks in the road and before you know it, one of your center console AC vents is pointed down?

anyway to make them more firm into place? When i turn the Heater on, the vents get nice and tight, but no heat, or worse, AC turned on, the passenger side gets really loose.

do they also get very firm when you turn on the heater?

Im thinking of cutting a washer out of some paper thin pastic and trying to wedge it between the outside hinge and the housing of the vents.

Not sure about firming up when the heater is on...

If it is cold enough that I need to use the heater full blast, I usually take my other car

Well, if i fix it, ill let you know how it did it. Ill try to make 2 of whatever i make to firm up the movement and mail it to you.

Ill probably use my spare Petco Pals card (keychain version) and cut it into tiny C shaped washers.
