Anyone ever been harassed by a member here?

I got home from newyears, and I found I had a harassing PM from someone who claims I ripped them off on Ebay years back in a phone transaction, and I owe them $150. This person has no posts, and the account was brand new.

I'm curious if this is a scam or something? Anyone seen this before? Needless to say I've never sold a phone on ebay, and have no idea who this person is.

This sounds like a scam. Suggest you make the Forum Admins aware of it.

Think about it -- how could someone link a screen name from EBAY to a screen name here. There is no correlation.

It is probably some crazy person who googled the user name of who ever ripped them off on eBay, or it is a scam? Since it is most likely the latter, I would PM an admin.

Send the member name to RKWEI, provide him with the PM and he will delete the member.
