Forget slower, if everyone drove a little smoother I bet we could save more!

(dog forbid someone gets it in their head again that going back to 55mph speed limits is the best way to control consumption since people are too stupid to think for themselves!!!).

At the end of the day the price difference between pumping 91 or 87 is negligible. The savings that people think are there just dont exist. Make sure the car is well maintained and adjust your driving habits and you will see better results.

Sheeeeeeet... I just got back from Phoenix... driving the Boxster.

I averated 31mpg both ways. w00t!!
