Funny how you get used to things like temperature display and auto-on headlights in your BMW. Oh the inconviences I must put up with in a Porsche

search "OBD hack" either here or on the babblers and you will find your answers.
You will have to do some work yourself, my dealer charged me $75 to enable the feature in the computer of the car.
