I paid $94.00 shipped, I was advised to remove one of the hose connections from the AOS and if I found oil in it than it had failed. After completely removing the AOS it had a fair amount of oil throughout...enough to drip out of it. Is this the only problem?...hope so but I assumed that replacing it as indeed it does need replaced would only leave me $94.00 further in the hole and in the big picture if the engine is toast than it is only a drop in the bucket.

I finialy got the new AOS installed, not something I would look forward to doing again. Laying on your back working through a small opening up to the separator is not easy for an ole guy, my hands look like hamburger, man there is alot of sharp $hit up in there.

The good news is after about ten miles of driving the smoke cleared and the car seems to be running fine. I once again want to thank all here for their constructive info, these types of forums are great....just trying to think how we got along without the internet. Twenty years ago how long would it have taken to find this kind of information if could have found it at all?
