Hi,

IIRC, it's a 6mm nut, hand tighten. Use a small (1/4" drive) socket w/ extension or a nut driver. Lower the Hood almost parallel to the ground and try to extract the nut with the tool (the access hole is small and the nuts can slide out of reach inside the metal stamping).

Installation is the reverse, keeping the Hood parallel to the ground, lay down the Gasket and Emblem inserting the pins into the Hood. The load up the nuts onto the tool like before and carefully insert them into the hole and onto the pin. Do both nuts and tighten slightly, then make sure the Emblem is straight before tightening them down. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN! The nuts are made of thin brass and will bend and no longer grab the pin if overtightened. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
