Hi,

You can use an Impact Driver w/ Lrg Philips bit or a large Philips Head Screwdriver. You sometimes need to tap the screwhead using a hammer and punch to free it and also a rubber mallet on the rotor to free it from the hub. Screws loosen Anti-clockwise, Clockwise to tighten.

For the Rears, these also act as the Brake Drum for the Parking Brake and to free them from the hub, you also need to release the Parking Brake (place a brick or other obstacle under the Front Wheels for safety) and loosen the Star Wheel adjuster for the Parking Brake Shoes. This is located behind the upper Bolt Hole and you need to insert a straight screwdriver and pry the Star Wheel adjuster upward to release the Parking Brake Shoes. Again, you may need to tap the rotor to loosen it sufficiently to remove it. When replacing a Rear Rotor, you also need to line a bolt hole up with the Star Wheel Adjuster so you can access it with a screwdriver as before and then pry the Star Wheel downward until the rotor will not turn, then you pry the Star Wheel adjuster 5 clicks upward (Rotor should now turn freely) and then pry it Up an additional 4 clicks. Hope this helps...

Happy Motoring!... Jim'99
