i've seen them in japanese car accessory places... but spray on smoked lens aren't as great as you'd picture... u lose a lot of the shine, and it peels. i had it before on my civic =x

boggtown had his front lights like that..actually were for sale. go on ebay, or google search you can find it. just bought mine at a hobby shop. Its translucent paint. Michaels craft has it too, but they didnt have the black i wanted, but had every other color. i did three coats to the amber (bottom) lenses, then clear coated it. It looks like he did the same, but then shot the top with a coat or two.

If your gonna paint it, sand everything good, spray the stuff, sand it with a fine grit and take them to a body shop and get them clear coated. But I reccomend this http://www.stickercity.com/store/product.php?productid=18109&cat=1632&page=1
I almost bought that myself and you can cut out the inside so there is a circle where the main headlight is. Ok, Now everyone quit PMing me about the lights! Ive gotten like 20 messages of people asking me about all this crap.

Ya, you can use nite shades. You have to sand the light first though or else it wont stick. It holds up just fine.
