WTB: Immobilizer waterproof case

Looks like the waterproof cases for the 986/996 immobilizer are no longer in production (theres a harness extension fix in the works instead).

Anyone have one they'd like to sell? Ive dealt with 2 immobilizers getting wet and its enough of a PITA that Id rather shell out for a waterproof solution that doesnt involve drilling holes into the floor.

Thanks!

Does no one any longer clean their drains?

Asking for a friend.

Ive had two immobilizers go bad. First was in my 986 (clogged drains). Second was in my 996 coupe (clear drains, but drains were simply overpowered by amount of rain/water due to a corroded overhead gutter in the driveway). Both times, Qmulus got me back on the road for an extremely reasonable fee compared to all other services out there.

Now just trying to prevent another reoccurrence. These waterproof cases were selling up until the new year for $150 so just looking for anyone that has one lying around they decided not to install.

Garage
Meanwhile consider drilling a drain hole under the seat and inserting a drain tube.

For my Off-Roadster I also coated the seal of the module with silicone grease, then put it in a heavy zip-lock bag sealed with tape. With multiple intrusions of water and mud into the car, the immobilizer module has remained pristine.

I believe it may have been you that turned me onto one from your collection... like 6...7... years ago.

Remains in my parts bin. SoCal, ya know.
