If you'd like a temporary cover or want to get artsy and create your own Porsche crest, I have some original center caps that are missing the metal crests. These are not likely to be stolen.

I can send you 4 for pretty cheap.

Yeah, mines are just like these, only the crests are missing.. Probably the glue gets brittle over time and they just fall off. Thanks though.

In the past there have been some all plastic knock-offs on eBay and Aliexpress for around $25 a set. Those are hard to find now. I'd try Facebook market if you don't get offers here.

Yeah, I saw those like half a year ago and now they are all gone.

Great, thanks for the tip, I found the seller in Huntington Beach, indeed, it's all over OC CL, but these didn't come up on my local Craigslist in the Bay. I need silver, 76mm caps. I think these should fit:

Yeh. The HB guy. That's where I got mine. They're great for the price.

They fit on my stock 16s.

Hey Homeo, I didn't get a PM but i'll try to post some pics tonight. Center caps are from the stock 17 twist that come on a majority of boxsters 986 and have the colored porsche crests.
