WTB - Anyone sitting on wheels for a 986? (Cayman 17x6.5/8)

Folks, new guy and looking to upgrade wheels. I will tell you right now I am 100% happy with the stock 17s and the 2001 rims. Wife, not so much. True story.

A local guy has 18x8.5 and 18x10 Enkei NT03+m wheels for $1000. These look cool, but I'm worried the rear +60 offsets might be too much and I don't really want to run spacers. The offset calculators say they will fit.

I found a person online selling 18x8 and 18x9 Braid wheels, in black. With tires they want $1200 plus shipping. Or black OZs for $1400 plus shipping.

The black Braids/OZs are definitely up my alley although I am getting old for the boy racer look. Sue me!!!

Does anyone have a set of the lighter 17x6.5 17x8 Cayman wheel sets? Or other options they would sell? Sport Classics? In the VA or MD area would be a bonus!

It funny, I wanted to stay with 17s and in the garage and the wifes Camry came with 19s from the factory. They are definitely not a jarring ride in our local area. Figured I would consider 18s for the 986 but I don't want a weight penalty either...

Thanks Capt. If I get any more wheels they are going to be those Cayman base 17s.

I did buy these below and hope to get some new tires shortly.

Just my opinion but this looks like a steal if they're nice.

Those wheels are my favorite Porsche wheels. If I hadn't bought the Cayman wheels I would look really hard at those. I hear they are a touch heavier than other OEM wheels... but they look really good!
