Yes, I checked that part number, 986-504-119-00. That cover runs from side to side across the front of the engine. I have worked on dozens of 986 Boxsters and that cover is NEVER complete. About 50% of the time, the cover is missing altogether and the remaining ones are broken somewhere. I do not have one that is perfect. Looks like you can get a new one for $150 ish. Let me know if you are still interested in a used one that has a broken tab or two.

Thanks,
Joe

This is for a race car. WOuld rather not spend $150 on a new one. Broken Tab or two doesn't matter, as long as most of it is there. Can you send a pic or two to my email, jordansimon68@gmail.com along with a price shipped to 10901?

Post Different part number

Hmmm, now I'm confused. I went to get photos of the pieces I have and noticed that the part number does not match what you have in the original post.

You asked for: 986.504.119.00
I have: 986.504.129.02

Typically, if there are changes to the part only the last two digits will vary as a new revision is introduced. When the last set of three digit numbers is different, 119 vs 129 in this instance, that would indicate a different part altogether. Using google images however it does appear that the two parts are the same, or at least the same at a glance. I'm wondering if the 119 was used on 97-99, and the 129 on 00-04 and that there are some slight differences that I can't detect because I don't have one of both. Sorry to have gotten your hopes up.

Here are a couple of images of what I have for sale. The bottom one is as close to whole as I've seen a used one. The one on top is rougher, but still usable. I saw that you were using them for track application. Are they mandatory? Let me know if this part number works for you.
