Liftbars for sale

SOLD SOLD SOLD

For sale: 1 set of "standard" liftbars (they now sell a "gold" liftbar but mine is the standard)

Liftbars

$225 paypalled and shipped in the lower 48 - this is a pretty big discount over $239 + $75 shipping new

Have used them a few times when my Boxster was still stock height, but not since I lowered my Boxster (it is kind of a hassle having to raise the back end a little first to get the lift bars to fit). I'm selling the Boxster (at some point) and my "new" Cayman is even lower than the Boxster, so time for these to go.

If you have a stock height Boxster, these are great.

If you have a ROW M030 Boxster, these probably fit without having to pull the back wheels over a 2x6, but I haven't tested.

If you are lower than ROW M030, unless your jack has a super low minimum height, you will need to lift the back end a little before using this. TBH it gets to be a hassle

Once you get the car on these, it is nice and high It is just important to do it in stages, and important that the jack is on level concrete and can roll freely, so it rolls under the car rather than pulling the car (and therefore pulling the liftbar)
  1. Lift the car on one side and place the jack stands in their lowest position
  2. Lift the car on the other side and place the jack stands in (or near) their lowest position
  3. Go back to the first side and slightly rise (even if the other side is the same height already) and lower the car to settle that side
  4. If you want to put it in the higher jack stand positions, go back to the other side and raise it, then come back to this side and raise it.

More info from their website:

After reaching target height, lift opposite side again to settle stands

*NO ESCO stands, flat-top rubber or axle-type
*Use steel plate larger than jack on uneven surfaces

I would probably do $175 picked up, I am in 32025, where are you? I'm pretty far over to the East and not close to Alabama at all sadly

You must be near Lake City. I was gonna lean on my brother in Glen St Mary for the pickup. My forum box is full. I have a commercial / public email where we can continue : Folder 201 @ cs. com (no spaces).
