Wanted: 2000-2002 M96 3.2 engine

Looking for a 3.2 engine...

I’ve got a head gasket issue with mine so I’m figuring it would be easier to buy a known good replacement engine. I’m in Dallas, and the car it’s going in is a 2000 Boxster S that is mint otherwise which why I’m bummed... I’ll even take a 996 3.4 if you’ve got one, otherwise I may do an LS swap....

PM sent. The M96/M97 almost never have head gasket problems. More than likely you have a cracked head. 2000 engines are notorious for cracking heads. I know quite a few shops in the Dallas area that can help you out. There's a strong Porsche community up there.

Jibbster,

I have a fully dressed 01 engine and also a solid block. Both have good compression with 4-5% leak down. I'm up in Tulsa and can deliver for a small fee.

Look up Chris Amond for a shop in Dallas area. Solid guy who has a shop and is extremely knowledgeable.
