2000 Boxster S
I'm getting ready to send a 2000 Boxster S to the junkyard. I want to strip some parts that I might need later, be worth something or be something needed by others. I thought I would ask some advice, what should I pull off this car, in general? I have 2 other boxsters that I drive, so I thought maybe the wheels, taillights, window regulators airbags etc?
Any suggestions on what to keep before this thing is turned into a paperweight?
any asks?
It has the hardtop option, speaker box, freshly rebuilt tiptronic, brand new windshield
Thanks

Not sure I can give advice on what to keep, but any chance you have a driver's side comfort seat adjustment switch and wiring harness you'd be willing to part with? My 2000S seat won't recline/incline at all and it's hard to find replacements.

The tiptronic should bring $1-1.2k if you have receipts for the rebuild. Big red brakes $600+, center rad and muffler about $150 each, basically any parts that are "S" specific should be easy to sell.

If you have good door cards and speaker boxes, might beable to sell those to someone with no door speakers, that wants to do an install. If they are good condition.

What about the engine? Or is this why you are parting it out?
I would think it depends on the condition of the car... body, interior, etc...
Seats?

Seats are rough, had them covered, engine has intermix, so I assumed cracked head. Bought a new one and this has been sitting. 😏

I'd be interested in the wheels. Possibly the hardtop.

Wheels are promised, hardtop up for grabs and includes hardware. It is blue and in good shape. I think it has a small ding in it somewhere. Shipping would be up to buyer. PM me, I'm back in town after Memorial Day

Thank you for interest, PLEASE READ
All,
I am away from the car on business travel for the week, however I will be ripping the car apart in the coming week or so. I have an agreement with a local shop, thinking we will get on this one Sunday, either this weekend or next. I am also at the mercy of the shop owner for timing, but it looks like this will happen.
Sorry for the delay

Shipping and logistics are going to be the PIA for me on this.

For larger parts, it would be helpful to know approximately where on the east coast you are located.
