97-99 have a different texture vinyl and 97 doesn't have an airbag. They also switched how the door handle cable connects to the inside door handle. I think that happen in mid 98. 2000-2004 are the same

So I would have to run a 97 door pull to be able to use the 97 panels? I'm wanting these for my track/street car. I've removed the speakers and airbags so the 97 would be great to use. If possible.

I believe you can take the inside door handle off your door panel and transfer them onto the 97. I'll have to check if I have a set. A lot of nonspeaker door panels get hacked by people adding speakers later on. No door speakers wasn't a popular option.

I am picking up a black pair tomorrow with no airbag or speaker. '97 is the only year in the states with no airbag or speaker. There is a grey pair on eBay right now if you do not mind the color. You can also find them all day long on eBay UK for a decent price, but shipping is rather expensive. About $250 for a pair from eBay UK including shipping to the states.

Are they pocketless too? I've seen them where the speaker would be there's a pocket. I don't want ones that have that.
