Toyo Proxes 255/40/17

I ended up with a bunch of serviceable takeoff comp tires from the California Festival of Speed last weekend. Just when I had my tire storage almost cleared out.

This is the standard size for Boxster Spec and I am unloading these dirt cheap $20 ea, local cash and carry only- no shipping. They are recent vintage 2016 build date with no visible issues and plenty of rubber and grip left for a few days of hooning around the track in practice, DE, or Test & Tune. Bring a truck and get these outta here!

Man these are not the tire for me but I sure wish they were, this would be the perfect HPDE tire for buzzing around!

They are pretty decent comp tires and HC gradually instead of falling off a cliff like R7s. I would use them but 255/40/17 square gives my Cayman PSM indigestion. I really need to run a double stagger with the rears 1" taller than the fronts. Much better tire choice in 18" for this car.
