The previous owner put them on after doing a series of track days with the car. They have super grip, but since this is now a street-driven car only they tend to squeak a bit when the rotors are cold and in stop-and-go traffic. So I replaced them with some regular conventional Textar street pads.

These would serve an occasional track car well, but for me and the way that I use the car now, they are a bit of a waste.

P.S. - Yes, confirming that these pads do not fit a base Boxster - only the "S" models.
