FAbspeed Exhaust for a 986.
Hello, I have complete fabspeed sports exhaust for a 2001 Boxster S. it was installed and sounded great with plenty of power. I had a Oil Separator fail and subsequently a rear oil seal failure. So the 01 was traded for a 06 and this is extra.
This is a link to the manufacture.
Headers, $ 1610.00
Porsche 986 Boxster Sport Headers (2000-2004) - Fabspeed Motorsport
Exhaust, $ 1100.00
Porsche 986 Boxster Maxflo Performance Exhaust System - Fabspeed Motorsport
I would like them to go to a good home and will sell for 70% of the original cost.
Let me know if you are interest. I can ship but would prefer local pick up.
Thom

How long did you have them installed? Do they have any oil inside due to oil/separator failure?

I had them on for two months before the failure. The oil was drained out and I had the Separator replace but the damage to the IMS and rear seal was done. I have run it for two weeks so the oil residue is all clear out. It had stopped smoking about three days after the separator was replaced.

Dang, sorry to hear of the failure
Not to add insult to injury and just so you're prepared if this is your first time around but aftermkt accessories rarely garner more than 30-50% of original parts cost. Hopefully your light use will help you get more but just don't want you shell shocked by low ball offers (from 986forum members ).
Good luck

I read it as 70% off the first time too and I was like, even though I have mid pipes and exhaust already I would be tempted
