I guess if someone was wanting to stay original it would be worth 70 bucks. To the normal person I don't think you will find anyone to pay 70 dollars for an obsolete cassette tape holder.

any educated Porschephile ,knowledgeable of the true value of restoring your Porsche to original specs and /or the value of this part ,would pay more than $70 because the part is worth at least 7 times that much.

I totally get it, but honestly this car is going to be far from being a collector item ever. It will never get to collector level of a 993 where they bring in a pretty penny for an original vehicle. I am not knocking it and am not saying it is not worth it to the right person. Just stating for the average person on this forum I would see it being difficult to spend that kind of money.

$70 is too much money for the average person in this forum, for a new leather covered oem Porsche part?
Seriously?

Garage
I would look for a cassette deck head unit, hack it to add an auxiliary RCA audio input for the iPod, and go retro stealth.
Did that in my '85 Camaro

I can see someone like me wanting a cassette rack

I would be interested in any leather parts if it were Boxster red. I actually have grey leather side vents in storage for the moment. Bought them on ebay awhile back.
