A tip: don't pass up "broken" ones. The plastic gets brittle with age and the fingers that hold them to the roll hoops tend to break off. But a couple of black 10-inch cable ties ($4 for 50) will keep it in place and keep it from rattling.

You have already told eBay to e-mail you when they show up there, I assume?

I have a driver side (IIRC) in great condition that is surplus to my needs. I'll take $75 plus shipping for it.

I would have liked clean ones, but if they aren't too bad, that would work as well. Thanks for the idea.

Why are these stupid things so expensive??? Seriously roll bar inserts for a miata would probably be 1/3 the cost. If I had a 3d printer bed big enough, I would design my own and print them!

Pretty sure they are talking about the mesh wind screen that insert behind the driver/passenger in the roll-bar

Yes

HOwever it would look tacky to zip tie them over the roll bar pads that are a different color.

The roll bar pads just pull straight off.

No need to pull the covers off as the zip ties will slip between the pad and bar. Put one tie in the lower corner of each insert. This will keep them secure without being obvious,

I have broken tabs. Who needs em. I utilized self adhesive velcro to the frame and the insert. i trimmed so it will not show. Very solid, no noise and I can readily remove/replace as needed.
