Need a 99 window regulator cable only
Hey Woody,
My right side window regulator was making grinding/cable shredding noises and working intermittently, so I took it apart. The motor's fine and every part of the regulator is fine, except the cable, which had a few torn strands. I trimmed off the shredded parts and re-routed the cable and it's working fine- for now. So, I just need the regulator cable. Do you think that is available anywhere, or do you have one? Called around to the local dealers and they only sell the regulator as a whole unit, of course. Thanks.

Sorry guys, three strikes. I haven't had much getting any porsche inventory in a few months. The insurance companies have been writing less off since hurricane Harvey.

Hey Woody. I am looking for a rear trunk actuator (p/n 98651211700).
Mine works fine once every couple of hours but then acts like the battery is going dead but it isn't the battery. I assume the motor is going out. If you have one that would be great. Thanks!
The actuator is more important than these other 2 items.
2 other things I would like if you still have anything left. The Fuel neck sleeve and the mud guard/flap x2.

Sorry I only have a set for the M531. $350+shipping. Contact Qmulus on this forum. He might be able to fix what's wrong with yours for about the same price

Hi Woody, do you have a drive axle for a 986S? Specifically, mine is 2003 and I need the driver's side and hopefully with good condition CV and boots. If so, could you tell me how much shipped to Toronto, Canada? Thanks!

You'll need to get the part number off the side of it. Porsche used a few different ones and they change from year to year and even within a year. Can't remember when they change

Thanks for the information. I did a bit more research and you are correct, there are a few options...
My problem is that I don't have the MAF from the car to verify the part number.
The car was running great last year when I acquired it (no CEL/etc). Drove for a few months with no issues. I parked it for the last six months and now it is throwing a CEL. Code points to the MAF so I go to pull the MAF and clean it to see if that helps and the plug just falls off it. Also the security screws are gone and regular screws instead. Upon closer inspection the MAF is from a completely different car and the socket where the plug goes was filed down to make the plug fit...
Long story short is I don't know which MAF to use...
Proper fix is probably get the latest MAF and have the software updated to match it?
Any clue what happens if the MAF doesn't match the software version?
Probably a post for a different thread...
Sorry to hijack!

No problem. Let me know if the free one doesn't work for you.

For those of you who have never ordered from Woody, I want to let you know everything came just as expected. Shipping was fast and was packaged neatly. I will be ordering from him again in the future if I ever need anymore parts.

You're better off buying the covers new as I don't think it's possible to remove a used one without breaking it. Pelicanparts sells them for a reasonable price.
