Thumbs up FS: 996 / 986 Headlights with TechArt Style Covers in Black

For sale is a set of original all clear Porsche 996/986 headlights off a 2001 996 (made by BOSCH); all bulbs included. They have TechArt style headlight covers which are very expensive and difficult to find (just Google it). The covers were painted in original Porsche black and silicone to the headlights by the previous owner (see pictures below of these headlights on the previous owner’s black 996). All are in very good condition.

Price: $690 (shipped within the continental US, 3% Paypal fee included in the price)
Price drop: $590 (shipped within the continental US)

On my 986

Honestly, your price is waaaay too high and those covers are ugly as hell.
The insides are also yellow and brown, like the bulbs got too hot.

If you take the covers off and the headlights look good underneath, I'll give you $400.

The yellow is very minor, some could be from the reflection of surrounding. I'm only looking to sell everything as a set. I'm not in a rush to sell them so will wait for the right buyer at the right price.

My offer of $400 still stands, but only if the lenses look good under the covers.
Or just keep holding your breath for another year

Nobody likes those hideous covers.

Actually Somebody does too. If you buy them tonichristi, you could offer them to Nobody since you've clearly confirmed that Nobody likes them.

There could be an issue trying to separate them without damaging the covers though depending on where the adhesive was used, and how much of it. The fiberglass isn't very thick.

I think they look good when they match the body color. Wait, what were we discussing?

The previous owner used adhesive silicon and he stated the covers can be remove if needed. I'm not sure of the cover material but they do seem pretty strong.

Nope. The "sale" and complete lack of interest shows that no one wants the covers

Only a tasteless "G-money" would want those. Lay off the weed, burnout. It's affecting your judgement.
