996 911 3.4 engine for sale.

Fresh top quality rebuild on low mileage 3.4 engine, all new seals and gaskets, IMS updated, Front and rear main seals. Updated chain guides plus expensive ARP bolts. Value is 10,000. 7300 obo. In addition, I also had made Custom heads and custom adapter to take a cayman intake manifold. This with heads/exhaust would add apx 45 plus HP. (heads/adapter,intake not installed and sold separately)
I was going to put this in my 2.7 2001 track boxster but sold the car. Perfect upgrade to a 986.

If I burn my engine in the next few miles I will let you know. Good price. Shouldn't have a problem moving it….so far, just burning tires!

Can you provide more details on the history of this motor? eg. Year, mileage before and after rebuild, reason for rebuild, what was done in the rebuild other than IMS etc. Also, where are you located? I have a 2002 986 in LA with a blown motor, so this is of interest. I am new to the forum.

It was good running engine out of a 2000 911 with under 40,000 miles.
Then plan was do a lot of events and wanted it to be "freshened up." Engine is in Orange County, Ca. I will Pm you when I get more specifics.

The custom heads and adapter plate cost me almost 3000. Will sell for 2100. The intake if you had to buy all the parts-6 injector's , throttle body and side pieces seperately etc it would be over 2500. Will sell for 550.00

How easy is this to install in a 2002 986? Do you need any specially fabricated parts for the fit? What do you estimate the cost for mating with my car? Are there substantial ecu tweaks? I'm trying to get an idea of what this will cost "all in" if I were to buy your motor for 6800. It seems like a great deal.

Do you have any pics of the engine, headers, or intake manifold?
