I purchased this garage door opener for one of the dash blanks. You stick the opener behind the dash, then the factory blank functions as the opener......pretty slick deal. I used it for a couple years without issue and then pulled it when I sold my Boxster. I thought I would be purchasing another Boxster to put it in, but it looks like that may not happen for a while. This one worked with my Liftmaster garage door opener and I do not know if it will work with other brands.
I think I paid about $100 for the set-up, will sell for $50 shipped.
