I have a new plastic battery installation adapter plate (and hardware) for the Optima battery designed for the 986 & 996. I also have the positive extended battery cable that may or may not be needed depending on your particular year or transmission.
The adapter plate is needed to install an Optima battery in the 986/996. The two items were originally sold/purchased separately, but I'm selling them together. They retail for $49.90 from Yellow Dog Motorsports where I purchased them.
