FS: Complete Wind Deflector/Mesh Inserts/bag
********SOLD, pending payment************
Complete deflector (perfect) with bag, and left and right mesh screens from my 02 (original owner). I removed in 03 since installing Brey-Krause roll bar extension and never used since. Perfect condition.
I think I did my last Boxster track day yesterday (time to retire it, started tracking in 03 and it and my Z06 have been doing double duties up until now) and am ready to convert it into a nicer street ride (considered selling the car but would really gain me peanuts). I don't think I would ever use these pieces ever again as i prefer the look of the roll bar extension.
$160 shipped. I have the same user name on the corvette forum and bought/sold many parts there. I will come here more often now. Thanks.

Advice taken yet? I believe I suggested the shelf clearing price weeks ago.

Sounds like the advice giver is also the buyer also...need to proceed with caution.
Good question for you milehigh is, does the other sellers on ebay/craigslist include the beauuuutiful, pretty, unmolested, "new" smell, original, German made storage pouch?

New German smell, arriving unexpectedly, that never ends well.

I'm interested. Fits a '99? Any chance you also have the attaching hardware that secures the screens to the rollbar?

There is no "attaching" hardware necessary. The wind diffusers have clips that are part of the piece, and the center deflector snaps in.

The center deflector snaps into plastic pieces that are attached to the roll bar. The plastic piece on my driver's side is broken.

Thanks Denversteve for the bump and info.
bar10dah, I will have to check to see what you are talking about and if the plastic pieces are indeed removeable. I won't need the plastic pieces and they are yours if removeable.

They should fit a 99, but please do your due diligence and double check. Thanks.

Feelyx, yep the left and center items appear to be one of the pieces I need. Thanks!
986 c6, from the look of the pics on Pelican's site, the pieces I need are riveted in place, so probably too much of a hassle to remove. If you can get them out, cool. If not, I'll just have to buy the kit from Pelican. PM me your address and payment method? I can do check or Paypal.

bar10dah, yeah i just went out to check the pieces and they are riveted in place. by the time i get them out, the plastic pieces will probably be mangled or damaged. sorry.
my paypal is kfcbb@hotmail.com. I heard if you send as a gift, then I won't be charged the paypal fee. much appreciated and I will ship as soon as i get the payment. Thank you.

Just as a price point idea. I purchased one of these "kits" from a dismantler for $125 shipped. It did including the left/right/center windstop glass mounting hardware. And then I had the glass tinted for $10.
FYI: I use zip ties to keep the honeycomb inserts from falling out at high speed on both of my Boxsters.
