aero wing
Does anyone know the quality of the aero wing spoiler sold by NR automobiles?Apparently the dimensions are exactly OEM.I spoke with Neil at NR automobiles and he reported that the quality is excellent and it is made of fiberglass in the US.Mounting should not be difficult as the later years 986 have marker holes on the underside of the lid.Spoiler comes unpainted for $695.After doing extensive net and forum research there is no consensus as to the quality and reliability of any spoilers other than of course the $4000 tequipment kit. Most are made in china, and there nothing wrong with that however can the quality be trusted.Seems like the prices of the same exact spoiler differs by hundreds of dollars on different sites.Any help ,insight greatly appreciated

I don't know about that one. I did just order one from England that, with shipping is just over $200. It's fiberglass and very lite. It will be here in 2 weeks or so. They also paint for under $100 but I passed as I will have this painted at the same time and shop as my humps.

Perfect. Not heavy, needed very little work to paint. Installs in factory holes. Fraction of the cost of any other Arero II style wing. Priceless.

FYI - Nr Auto does not manufacture that wing. Rather he sources it from Precision Porsche . In any case, there are numerous sellers on eBay offering similar ones at a fraction of the cost . Case in point, Denver Steve's .
