FS: Speedline 3-Piece Competition Wheels
Hi All,
I have a set of Speedline Alessio (3-piece) Competition wheels including the black Porsche Crest center caps. These wheels were removed from a 2001 Boxster (originally from a Porsche 993). They are true Speedline wheels from Italy and not replicas -- they have Speedline etched under the clear-coat.
Sizes:
Front wheels: 18" x 8.5", ET 45 mm
Rear wheels: 18" x 10", ET 56 mm
The wheels are in excellent condition (straight and true, and w/o air leaks).
I am also including with the set a pair of used H&R wheel spacers (15 mm) to bring the rear wheel offsets to 41 mm - the fit is fantastic (see pictures) and there are absolutely no rubbing issues etc (using 285/30/18 tires). This was the set-up used on my Boxster - I upgraded to a set of Gemballa Corse Competition wheels (also made by Speedline) and no longer need this beautiful set.
I am asking $2550, plus shipping. Note that these classic Speedline wheels were over $4K new and are relatively rare, and no longer in production.
Ping me if you are interested.
Thanks in advance,
Humberto

Hi All,
The Speedline Alessio (3-piece) Competition wheels are still available. I am willing to let the set go for $2300 + shipping, and I will also add a set of H&R spacers for the Boxster.
Please ping me if you are interested and if you would like to see any additional pictures (provide me with your email address, if that's the case). A Paypal transaction would be fine.
Thanks and regards,
Humberto-

Are there tires on the wheels? If so, what make, model and size?
You state: "The wheels are in excellent condition (straight and true, and w/o air leaks)."
Marks, scrapes, curb-rash.....?
Thanks

Sorry, I forgot to answer to second questions...
One of the front wheels has a tiny amount of curb rash (about 1/2 inch length). That's about it. If you send me your email address, I can email you some high resolution photos.
Overall, the wheels are in excellent condition...
Thanks,
Humberto-

That's not a big deal on these wheels. The outter lip is a polished ring. A quality wheel repair shop can polish that out perfectly for about $95.

just a question...did you custom make that mesh screen on front bumper. if not, where can i buy it? Looks great and probably helps keep debris out. I took my front bumper off and filled my wet dry vac with leaves!

Hi Guys,
Yes, the outer lip can easily be polished, if wanted (frankly, you have to look *really* hard to even see that tiny amount of curb rash).
Dennis, the front mesh came with the Mulsanne bumper that I purchased (a few years ago) from Fiberworks in Fl ( http://www.fiberwerks.com/). That bumper design also provides additional cooling to the radiator...
Let me know if you have any questions.
Cheers,
Humberto-

Hi,
In the front: 225/35/18
Rear: 285/30/18
But you can go wider in the front if you desired. Although, I think the above set-up is close to a perfect balance.
Let me know if you have other questions.
Thanks,
Humberto-

Hi Folks,
The Alessio Speedline wheels are yet still available for sale. I never thought it would be so difficult to sell this original wheel set!
I have an Ebay listing for $2199 (plus shipping) or OBO:
eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices
Outside of Ebay, I will let this beautiful set go for $2000 (plus shipping; the buyer will pay the exact FedEx shipping charges) - given that Ebay will take a 10% commission on the sale. This offer also includes a set of H&R spacers for the Boxster (for the rear wheels).
Please let me know if you are interested - a PayPal transaction would be fine.
Thanks and regards,
Humberto-
