Question Nokia amp

Where is that Nokia 6x40 amp located in the Boxster? I have a CDR 220 in my '01 and I added the rear deck speaker last year and the system sounds great to me. Of course the Boxster is 57 years newer than my ears

This specific Nokia is actually out of a 996 that is why it's a 6 channel amp. The Boxster comes from the factory with a 4 channel 4x40w which is located in the front trunk right behind the spare wheel

However if your 2000-2002 came equiped with a Hi Fi system then the 6 channel amp is stock along with the rear speakers as was in my 2001.

you can either rewire the entire stereo system or you should be able to purchase a harness that hooks up to your aftermarket head unit and the factory amp allowing better sound throughout the speakers.

I've got a 6 channel amp from a Bose equipped '04 Boxster if anyone is in the market for one.
