I'd keep it and save it for the day you sell the car. OEM will be valuable one day unless your car gets heavily modded or crashed.

Try to buy a 1970 Blaupunkt Frankfurt these days. Oh how I'd like to have back the one I sold in '83 for $100.00.

Which JVC did you put in? I'm thinking its time to yank the CDR220 and updating to something with Bluetooth.
