First is can the plate be made to indicate 5 speed or be covered? I have a 99' 5 speed. And if so what are you looking to get for it?

only looking to get $100 plus shipping for it...I'm very satisfied with the techart billet knob I've got now, so this one is just sitting in a box...

That's a great price for that shift knob and boot... you're not getting many takers because all the six speed S's out there already have a nice shift knob.

And no, there's no "5 speed" plate to replace the 6 speed diagram on this shifter. They don't make them... but someone should!

What color is the boot?

I have a 5 speed, but I'm creative enough to find a way to get the gear indicator plate off and replace with something of my own manufacture . . .
