I believe the tool also installs the seal to the correct depth.

Here are the pictures of the RMS Driver that I had made. It was a race bearing that seemed to be just the exact size.





The Bentley Manual recommends setting the replacement seal to 13 mm. After reading Tool Pants' post on Renntech, I decided to set it at 14 mm. The orginal RMS was set to 11 mm. Tool Pants' post can be found here.



The ears on the side of the tool allowed me to use the hammer on them. I rotated the tool and hammered on the ear, if the seal needed to be kept straight. It didn't take long and the RMS was set home.
