Has anyone wrapped their bumpers instead of re-spraying? I need to do mine (front mostly) spider cracks and pitting from road. Seems like if I have it resprayed, it will just happen again. I was quited a while back about $600 to spray both front and back.
Taking car to shop next week, possible immobilizer issue, but I am hoping it is just ignition switch. After pulling immobilizer to check it for damage, car won't start. Odd thing it, when you turn the key, the frunk unlatches! Then it would not unlatch, but would not open no matter what, and alarm would not stop. So I had to pull the inner wheelwell to get to emergency release and disconnect battery. OoFF!

I believe that any cracks or pitting in the paint would show in the wrap unless the surface was refinished prior to application.
