no I don't think cutting would be the way to go. I think having the plastic simply cover more of the rear quarter panel, specifically under the intake, to "fake" the appearace of a larger opening.
I'm not saying it should be as huge as it is on 997 Turbo but it could be much bigger, more curvy, fluid, etc.
The 987 needs work too, I think they need more than just a Cayman swap as an alternative...But holy how are these moulds expensive to make. I see why fiberglass is so common.
