Hi,

Dielectric Grease typically had 2 functions in Car ignition systems. It provided a lubrication such as to a Distributor Shaft Cam and also to waterproof a connection such as a Spark Plug Boot.

While it certainly wouldn't hurt to use it, there wouldn't really be any benefit either.

With Coil-on-Plug, and the recessed Heads, there is already a watertight seal. And, again with the CoP, you don't need to lubricate it because you have a much larger surface to grip and separate the CoilPak from the Plug. Hope this helps...
