Just make absolutely sure the filter plenum is TOTALLY clean before putting the new filter back in. When you take out the old one, all the crap sitting on top falls into the plenum, and if you don't clean it out, it'll get sucked into the engine lickety split!

(I use my shop vac with a special attachment I made myself for cleaning the leaves and other crap from in front of the radiators without having to remove the bumper. It's just a piece of 1/2" pvc pipe about 2 feet long duct-taped to a fitting that'll attach to the vac.)
