Hi,
I think a break-in is prudent with this setup. The Shock/Strut Seals will establish wear patterns in their Bores over the first few hundred miles and the Bushings will as well.
Not saying that it's absolutely necessary, but over the long run, I bet those broken-in experience fewer problems with wear and leaking prematurely than those which were immediately taken to the limit...
