When you remove the lower console, you will notice some kind of cimputer module. Buying the kit is a nice way to hide it, and you can gain some kneeroom. I broke down and ordered the kit for these very reasons. It's simple DIY, but the kit runs about $120 and can be a "special order" part, meaning extra time before it arrives
