Well it looks like you guys got a real nice corner of the web here.
I just got a Boxster, so I figured I would try and find some like-minded folks.
It's a terrific car and the first Porsche I've had that I can drive daily and the costs won't kill me.
I admit I'm a bit of a Luddite, with my other Porsche being a 356B and having previously owned a 930, and it took me a long time to warm up to the Boxster, but it is a fantastic car. I can say I'm gonna have it for a long time to come.
I got a '01 S with 20K miles on it. It's Guards Red with a black top and interior. It has all the options I would have gotten and none of the weight-adding, non-speed-enhancing foo-foo stuff.
I do have one question about the red. I thought it was Guards Red, but someone said it's too vibrant and bright for Guards Red, and they think it's Arena Red. All I know is it's a real loud color and can be spotted from miles away.
Truly, "Arrest-Me Red".
