I have a black boxster and i telephoned porsche and asked how much for a flash over using the same colour.

they said it would be £4900 + VAT which takes the total price to £5750

Thats about $10,000 which is CRAZY!

So i telephoned a paint shop that sprays high performance cars and they want £4000 includding VAT which is much cheaper than Porsche..

anyways the point of this is... i wont be having this done... my car is no where near that bad i just thought if it was like £1500 or something i would go for it..

Also thats the prices for the UK and to get a basic flash over, i guess the price would be higher for a complete colour change but it might de value your boxster...

also black is very hard to keep clean and does show marks easy but when its polished up on a red hot day its all worth it... also blacked out windows look really good on a black car also the red calipers really set the wheels off...
