Porsche has a real struggle on their hands this year in both P2 and GT2.
In P2, the early speed and all-around competitiveness of the Acura has been something of a surprise. Porsche will get the electrical gremlins exorcised in short order, plus future events won't be on tracks that deliver the hammering done at Sebring, but this doesn't necessarily help.
In GT2, this result could be a portent of things to come. Porsche is not going to be able to depend on continued problems by the Petersen/White Lightning crew, and Risi showed that last year was no fluke. Had it not been for a ticky-tack 20 second "visor up" penalty on one of the Risi team on the last pit stop, they would have won handily, if you could call a handful of seconds after 12 hours of racing "handily". In any event, Bergmeister left the door open a teeny crack on the last turn, and Melo forced his way through, and full marks for him.
