I have not researched whether or not these chips differ in this manner. Also, each company's market research establishes the price point people are willing to pay and they price their products accordingly...

Jet Performance, re-writes the code. That's why they require you to send in your ECU and then they overnight it back to you after they are done with the changes. That's the same thing that PowerChip does. So why is it better, if it is at all?
